This self-paced course offers an in-depth exploration of child-centered play therapy (CCPT) through the foundational text Play Therapy: The Art of the Relationship by Garry Landreth. Participants will engage in guided independent reading and complete a structured posttest to demonstrate comprehension. This program emphasizes the therapeutic powers of play, the central role of the therapist-child relationship, the use of limit setting and structuring, and the developmental and emotional needs of children in the playroom. The course also highlights ethical, cultural, and caregiver collaboration considerations essential to CCPT practice.
